MP apartment

The MP apartment was originally built in order to enjoy the landscape of Caldonazzo lake. The apartment, surrounded by gardens and orchards, has a beautiful view on the lake.

The furniture project is based on the observation of the surrounding landscape and the analysis of the actions that take place there. The furniture evokes the need to find a new balance between opposites, to regenerate body and mind. Natural vegetal and mineral materials are used, such as oak, declined as a coating for floors and walls, and lime plaster, which can be both practical and comfortable. Vegetable and minerals materials are to be found in the garden, which has become the place where the wild and the domestic landscape melt into one another.

In the living area, the planning define a unique space: as if it were a totem, a central piece of furniture, which includes the fireplace, has become a functional pin, but it is also useful and versatile, almost like a boat locker, like those that, on sunny days, appear on the lake.
