We are Elisa Burnazzi and Davide Feltrin and since we found our architecture studio in 2003 our goal has been to make your wishes come true, turning them into projects first and then into real buildings, which are unique and unrepeatable.
For this reason from the very first meeting we start from you as a person, from what inspires you, what you like, what you desire, what you dream of, what made you choose our studio and before that, what made you land on our website. This is the only way to design consistently, to make sure you create something that belongs to you, reflects you and, in a sort of way, resembles you.
How do we design the spaces of your dreams?
First of all we use a unique tool: Burnazzi Feltrin Architetti’s Dream Book.
In particular we ask you to collect ideas. This for better understand what is your tastes, what moves you, which needs do you have and what is your budget. From a certain point of view, this is the most creative phase of the whole process: it starts a path that leads us to design spaces suitable only for you and your needs, therefore always different, designed and built in a custom made way, like a tailored dress.
All the projects you can see on this website were born in this way: buildings, green spaces, interiors and installations characterized by minimalism and, at the same time, full of warmth because they give a feeling of wellness and belonging. As well as reading these words, you should take time to take a look at the photographs. In this way you can get an idea of the final result and become familiar with our language and aesthetic sense. And then filling your Dream Book will be even easier.
What can we design for you?
We have a wide range of projects: from masterplan for big developing areas to public and private buildings, from renovations and restorations to green spaces and landscapes, from interior design to signage, from art installations to graphic design.

In each of these fields, we carry on the aesthetics of our architecture studio, which is the result from a continuous exchange between two opposites: minimalism and maximalism, in search of new and original balances.
Sometimes we use a limited number of elements such as steel, glass, refined finishings and materials, cutting-edge technology. Instead other times we use elements in a massive way, using many (or more than many) of them, in a repeated way, such as larch wood battens used as cladding on facades. Sometimes we use unexpected elements, such as recycled materials used for installations.

The firm Burnazzi Feltrin Architetti was founded in Trento in 2003. Who founded it:
- Elisa Burnazzi, born and raised in Rimini, Trentina by adoption
- Davide Feltrin, from Trentino, who lived throughout Italy
Perhaps it is because one is from a seaside city and the other from a mountain place that we have opposite personality. And since everybody keeps on telling us that, we also acknowledge it as one of our strength. Our duality allows us to be empathetic with you and to seize different solutions in our projects.

We pay the greatest attention to environmental, social and economic sustainability.
For more than twenty years we have been creating upcycling (creative reuse) installations and our buildings have been energy saving even before it was mandatory in Italy. Both of us are CasaClima expert designers since 2004, and we can guarantee that your building will meet the highest standard in terms of energy and environmental performance, which means also saving financial resources. We use, especially for interiors, biocompatible technologies and materials that are good for people’s health and well-being.

We suggest the most suitable solutions for you based on the space’s function, aesthetic and emotion. Our aim is to build in a convenient, useful, efficient and, at the same time, extraordinary way. Your architecture will inspire awe, make you feel good, touch your feelings and those of other people.
We are deeply convinced that through architecture, by either moving inside or staying in a space, we connect with our body and with our deepest self. This is the reason why the most beautiful buildings of all eras, those that are truly remembered and never go out of style, are the ones able to resonate with our emotions and to communicate soundly with our being.

Thanks to the experience gained over the years, from the very first meeting we are clear about timing, services and costs. We can start from a preliminary draft, to a detailed design of the building, up to the construction site, the most delicate phase of the whole process because all the interventions of the contractors needs to be coordinated.
We come with you to see and choose materials, we consult different companies and analyses their offers, helping you to choose the best solution. If you wish, we can even help you with interior decoration, even suggesting accessories.

We are registered with the Trento Architecture Association Albo degli Ordine degli Architetti PPC di Trento). Elisa Burnazzi has been elected to the Association Board from 2014 to 2019, she has been in charge, among other roles, of the Competition Commission and represents the Trentino Alto Adige region at the National Architect Association (Consiglio Nazionale degli Architetti PPC) with the aim to promote Quality Guidelines for Architecture. Since 2019 she has been registered in the National Register of Competition Coordinators. She has been a lecturer at the University of Trento for the study course Building Engineering and Architecture, since 2017 she has been a juror and from 2018 to 2022 head of jury of the International Architecture and Design Award, the Architecture MasterPrize – USA.
Former member of the Landscape Preservation Commission of Val di Cembra, Davide Feltrin has been a juror in several national architecture competitions.
Together we are authors of books and articles about history and criticism of architecture published both in Italy and abroad, such as the book “Palazzo Ranzi, un cantiere alle soglie d’Italia” 2012 and the essay “What does architecture mean to you?” 2016.
Awards and publications.
We have won prestigious architecture awards in 5 different countries. In 2010 we were finalists for the “Premio della Fondazione Renzo Piano ad un giovane talento”, we exhibited four of our projects in the Italian Pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia – International Architecture Exhibition, in 2012, in 2018 and in 2021. In 2016 and 2019 we were chosen for the International Exhibition of Sustainable Architecture Wood – Architecture of Necessity – Sweden. We won the Iconic Awards in 2016, the German Design Award in 2017 and we were finalists for the World Architecture Festival Awards in 2016.
In 2016 Elisa Burnazzi was the only Italian shortlisted for the Women in Architecture Awards – Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture and she was mentioned in the article “In Honor of Women’s Day, 15 Exceptional Projects” by ArchDaily, she was the only Italian together with Lina Bo Bardi, in a list of 15 architects who have realized exceptional projects all over the world.
Our works have been published in Italy and abroad, in 115 magazines, 31 books and 11 countries. Among the publishing houses there are Phaidon, Utet and prestigious magazines such as The Architectural Review, Ottagono, Arketipo, Abitare and Domus.
